Basic Troubleshooting

1.Restart your Device.

A lot of issues are easily resolved by simply restarting your iPhone or iPod Touch. If you are having problems, try this first.

2.Redownload and Reinstall the Application.
If restarting doesnt help, you may want to try re-downloading the application and installing it again. If you want to remove the application from your device first, just be aware that removing an application will delete application data for good.

Problems after Updating

Following steps can help if you run into problems after updating:

1.Backup your data.
2.Delete the Application.
3.Redownload and Reinstall the Application.
4.Reimport your Data.

How to start?

The first step in iPlanner is to create Event Categories.
After creating a Event Category, it will appear in the "Set Event" View.
Event Categories can be aswell created in the "Set Event" View by pressing the "+" Button.

How does the Backup work?

The Backup Function saves your Data (Events, Categories,Settings) onto our Webservers.

How does Mail iCal work?

To use the Mail iCal feature you have to create a Backup first.
iPlanner creates a iCal Feed from your Backup and mails the Link to the given Address.
Now you are able to subscribe to this feed using your favorite Calendar Application like iCal or Google Calendar.

Custom Icons Tips

Custom Icons are resized by iPlanner after Uploading:

Half Year View: 14 x 14 Pixel
Monthly View: 20 x 20 Pixel
Weekly View: 20 x 20 Pixel
Daily View: 20 x 20 Pixel

We recommend using a square 20 x 20 Pixel transparent PNG image.

Uploading Icons

Please make sure that:

1.Your iPhone has a working WiFi Connection.
2.Your iPhone is connected to the same Network as your Computer.
3.Navigate to the "Upload" View in the Event Categories Manager.
4.Enter the Address shown in the popup into your Webbrowser using your Computer.
5.Upload your Icon using the Webform.
6.Confirm the Popup Dialog on the iPhone

Now you should see your Icon in the Preview.
